Alex maintains a broad complex commercial litigation and administrative law practice. His areas of focus include contract disputes, domestic and international arbitration, shareholder and partnership litigation, civil fraud and investigations, and appeals.

Alex has successfully represented clients before arbitrators, administrative tribunals, and all levels of court in British Columbia and Ontario, including the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal. Prior to joining Polous Ensom Smith LLP, Alex practiced litigation at a prominent national law firm in Toronto and a leading commercial litigation boutique in Vancouver.
