Hilary maintains a general civil litigation practice, with a focus on commercial disputes including breach of contract, real estate, leasing, and negligence claims. She also has experience representing clients in commercial arbitrations, before administrative bodies, and in injunction proceedings. Hilary has appeared and made submissions at all levels of court in British Columbia. She is dedicated to providing pro bono legal services and represents clients through Access Pro Bono’s roster programs.
Prior to joining Poulus Ensom Smith LLP, Hilary practiced civil and commercial litigation at an international law firm in Vancouver.
While at law school, Hilary represented students accused of disciplinary offences through the Student Advocacy program and served as Co-President of the International Refugee Assistance Project, McGill Chapter.
